Most women struggle with some form of shame. It could be about mistakes from the past or a secret in the present. In addition, sometimes Christians remain silent because they feel ashamed about their faith. They don't want to be considered offensive or intolerant, especially in today's culture. So how can you overcome your shame and be a more vocal witness for Christ?
This 6-lesson Bible Study examines the lives of eight women, several of whom had significant shame in their past or present. They were all transformed by their interactions with Jesus and responded by serving, praising, and proclaiming Him. Their stories will inspire you in your own faith journey because when you truly encounter Jesus Christ and realize the price He paid when He bore your sin and shame on the cross, you cannot help but live unashamed for Him!

Our women's group was thoroughly blessed by this study--and challenged! Each week brought us deep into Scriptural accounts of women who encountered Jesus in unexpected ways. There is so much to learn from these women--even those whose stories we may feel we are familiar with--and their response to Jesus. These studies show the relevance of Scripture to us today, and encourage us as women to likewise respond to Jesus by boldly praising God, serving Him, and spreading the word about Jesus!
I strongly recommend this study. Our women's group will be looking into the other "Un-" series studies by Jennifer Hicks for the future. Thank you!
